Meet The Trustees
Our ten hardworking trustees manage and maintain Holybourne Village Hall for the benefit of villagers and local organisations.
Here is some background information about each of them.
Mike Moulton
Chairman
Mike joined us in June 2008 and was elected Chairman of the trustees in 2022. Now retired, his background is in the construction industry, and he project-managed the kitchen refurbishment in 2017 and the upgrade to the toilet facilities in 2020.
Andy Muir
User Representative,
Holybourne Village Association and
Gardening Club
Andy joined the trustees in June 2022 and was elected as Secretary. In 2025, his term as Secretary came to an end, and he now represents the HVA and Gardening User Groups.
He holds a BSc in Biochemistry and worked in the water industry.
Ben Kemp
Compliance, IT
Ben became a trustee in June 2008 and originally served as Secretary that year. He became Chairman of the trustees in 2009, stood down in 2022, but remained on the committee. He was elected compliance officer in 2024.
Currently working for a publishing company, his background includes IT, Project Management, Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Hospitality.
Sue Husbands
User Representative,
Holybourne Village Pre-School
Sue joined the trustees as the user representative from Holybourne Village Pre-School in July 2003 and has been a constant committee member ever since.
Sue is the Manager of the Pre-School.
Jill Sykes
Booking Secretary
We were pleased to welcome long-time Holybourne resident Jill to the trustees in November 2025.
Jill is a retired PA, and brings her wealth of organisational experience to benefit the Village Hall.
Jeremy Erskine
Vice-chairman
Jeremy became a trustee in December 2018 and was elected vice-chairman of the Trustees in 2022.
His background is in electrical wholesale.
Angela Moulton
Treasurer,
User Representative, Holybourne Honeys WI
Angie joined the Trustees in January 2026 and is a retired Chartered Accountant. She now brings her considerable knowledge and experience to the Trustees as our Treasurer.
Michelle Reid
Secretary
Michelle was co-opted to the trustees in 2023 and welcomed as a “full” trustee at the June 2024 AGM. In May 2025 she was elected as Secretary when Andy’s term in the office finished.
Michelle’s background is in education.
Ian Bailey
User Representative,
Alton Camera Club
Ian joined us as the user representative for Alton Camera Club in June 2018. A keen photographer, he assists with publicity photographs and is also our procurement officer.
His background is in education.
